Math Class

She handed him her paper and smiled.
"I probably got a lot wrong so yeah, I wouldn't trust my work entirely."

"Suprisingly, no. You got a few minor mistakes."
Kyoto quickly went over her work.
"I don't see many issues here."

She looked over his work.
'Wow, he's really good at math...'
"I don't think you made any mistakes, but I could be wrong."

"OK."
He handed back her paper.
"You're good to go."

"Uhmm.."
She looked over his paper one more time.
"I think you're good to go too."

"Kay."
Kyoto took back his paper.
"I wonder what we'll be learning today?"

"Yeah me too."
Was she really that eager to learn about math, or was she just trying to relate to Kyoto?

"I bet it'll be something we'll never use."
Kyoto made an attempt to relate to Kiera, probably failing.

Kiera laughed alittle.
"Yeah, but knowing Mr. Takashi he'll find away to make us think that it's useful."

Kyoto started doing an impression of Mr. Takashi.
"It's the passion that unites us all, there's always a time and place for math."

Kiera started to laugh. She started doing an impression of him too.
"You may not know it but all of this is useful in some way. One day you'll learn."

Kyoto started laughing quietly.
"He deserves it."

She smiled.
"Aww c'mon Takashi isn't all that bad, he jsut gets arried away sometimes."

"All math teachers get carried away. I kind of wish they all would, literally."
Kyoto giggled.

She laughed with him. The bell rang and she realized that they had spent the entire class talking. When she looked at Mr. Takashi, it looked like he noticed too and he wasn't happy about it.
"Uh oh, we should get out of here."

"Run for your life!"
Kyoto exited his seat and the room.

Kiera grabbed her stuff and followed Kyoto.

"Next class..."
Kyoto walked at a brisk pace, then paused to let Kiera catch up.

"Yep yep, drama with what's his face."
She smiled at him as she started to walk at the same pace as he was before.

"Kay. Let's go."
Kyoto headed for the drama room.
