Oh Man, I'm Late!

"Thank god," she muttered.

"I can draw something up real quick, but we need a theme."
Kyoto thought.
"You guys have any ideas?"

Nadia drummed her fingers on the table. "People are out...that would look so messed up it's not funny. We could do a landscape piece but that's just so origonal..."

"But if we did the person thing it would look really weird and cool. They never said that it has to be super realistic."

"OK, now, who's doing what?"
Kyo reached into his pocket and pulled out an artist's pencil.

"We don't know our topic," she pointed out. Then she paused. "Or did we decide on a person?"

She thought for a second.
"I dunno, I was just throwing that opinion out there. If you don't want to do people, Nadia, then we can do something else."

"Not a fan of people either." She glanced at Kyoto. "Any ideas, Princess?"

"Call me Princess one more time and I swear we'll fail this. I'll make sure we do. I'm good at drawing anime, but it's not up to me what we draw, unless...Naw, stupid idea."
Kyoto continued thinking.

Nadia laughed once before settling a smile. "Well, what was your idea? The ballroom floor's all yours."

"..."
Kyoto closed his eyes.
"All Princess jokes aside, I think we should make something that has a common interest to all three of us."

Nadia raised an eyebrow. "You like manga, she likes sketching, I like photography? I'd say we do a manga thing where we make our own, but it's supposed to be a drawing..."

"You have pictures of us all, correct? We could focus on ourselves, make a story..."

Nadia nodded. "Yeah...yeah...That sounds neat. What do you think Kiera?"

"Sounds cool."
She wasn't really paying attention, but she was staring out the window.

"Hey. What's on your mind? You're not all here."
Kyoto looked at Kiera.

Nadia glanced over at Kiera, her smile falling. "Yeah, what's up?"

Kiera looked at the two people who were now asking her a question.
"Uh, nothing."

"So what do you think of the idea?"

"Don't 'uh, nothing' us! What's wrong?"
Kyoto placed his hand on her shoulder.

"Well I like the idea, and seriously Kyoto, it was nothing."

"Kay fine, geez!"
Kyoto looked at Nadia.
"Let's get started."

Nadia clapped once. "Alright then!" She put her hands on her hips, smiling. Then she looked at Kyoto. "So, do you want me to print the pictures off?"

"That's the first step. I'll convert them to anime, and we'll work on the story as we go along. How's that sound?"

Kiera then realized that she didn't have much to do with the project, but didn't really care.
"Sounds good."
